Description


Sealed and perfectly mint copy of the rare 1970s pressing of the legendary Ball and Chain LP on Arhoolie F-1039. Features music by Big Mama Thornton, Lighting Hopkins, and Larry Williams. Of course Thornton does her classic Ball and Chain here, made famous for mainstream white audiences by Janis Joplin that same year. Produced by Chris Strachwitz 1968, these are some of the greatest classic blues recordings of all time, and a truly perfect unopened and unplayed early pressing copy. Impossible to beat.
