PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
STILL SEALED, INCREDIBLY RARE original first (and ONLY) pressing of this electro funk soul disco hip-hop obscurity from right here in Chicago by students at the George Washington Carver Area High School pressed privately on the tiny little Challenger (named after the school's mascot) Records label in 1984!!! If you've never heard this LP (and 99.999% of the population hasn't) find the title track or the fantastically of-its-time stay in school anthem Call Us Cool and hear your new favorite album. You will not be disappointed. Considering the glut of far less deserving privately pressed LPs that have seen a reissue it's mind boggling that this is the only way to hear this rarity. I'm looking in your direction Numero Group. Near impossible to find a still sealed mint copy so don't sleep electro funk collectors.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
