If you're not familiar with Classic Records or the Quiex SV-P releases , here's some additional information: Classic Records has been producing HAND MADE / Audiophile quality reproductions for several years .... They are engineered from the original master tapes and pressed on 200 gram Super Vinyl.
They take months to produce the master. Every precaution is taken to insure the most accurate sound reproduction possible. Super Vinyl is produced in Japan at JVC, the only place in the world where such high quality vinyl is made. Super Vinyl gives an ultra quiet playing surface.
It's a vinyl that is heavier and harder than ordinary vinyl. And it has no "memory". You can play a Classic SV-P record over and over again, without having to let it rest after each play. When an ordinary, soft vinyl record is played repeatedly, the groove walls tend to stretch and distort and the sound deteriorates.
While time consuming, their preoccupation with an exact sonic replica of the original master stereo tape creates an incredible listening experience.
