Original 1975 US 1st original private press issue. This album was handed out at the first preview of the movie on August 6, 1975. MINT condition, record is STILL SEALED! The right top and bottom corner have mild storage wear. Amazing Museum Quality! I've never seen this nice of a copy on eBay. Don't miss your chance to own a very rare record.

Some words on this issue: MANU DIBANGO: “Kusini: Countdown At” (Private – LPK-1001) SEALED copy, NEVER BEEN OPENED. A fantastic and obscure Manu Dibango soundtrack to the equally obscure independent mid-70s movie «Countdown at Kusini». The soundtrack was produced in tiny quantities for the premiere of the obscure Ossie Davis movie in Seattle in August 1975. Each album is individually numbered. It's a superb blend of African rhythms, jazz, and a heavy dose of space jazz and funk. Each track is a winner ranging from up-tempo dance floor cuts to slower mellow numbers, all featuring Manu's superb sax playing. Killer afro funk and soul jazz blaxploitation sounds injected with a superb blend of African rhythms, jazz, and a heavy dose of space jazz and funk.
