Description

We are offering for auction this rare still SEALED first Canadian pressing of Abbey Road.

This sealed album has been identified as a first pressing by the construction of the cardboard cover. Original Apple pressings still used the traditional slick construction adhered to the cardboard frame, with the red CANADA information notice on the bottom back cover. Later Apple pressings (and all subsequent pressings) switched to a posterboard construction in the early 70s and featured a different Canadian credit on the back cover.

This copy was acquired last summer as a part of the large collection of promotional records of an ex CJMS Montreal programming Director (G.D. _ full name available in private). Weight of vinyl on a scale is 258 grams.
