SEALED!  "THE BEATLES STORY" ~ CAPITOL STBO-2222

This MINT sealed copy of "THE BEATLES STORY" is a pressing from 1971 to 1977 so the records will have Apple or Orange labels. How can I tell, according to Mr. Perry Cox (whom I thank for all his great Beatle books), the "THE BEATLES STORY" cover switched from cardboard to posterboard midway through the 1976 - 1978 pressing period. This copy of "THE BEATLES STORY" is the cardboard version. 

As you can see from the photos, this album is clean, with complete shrink-wrap and has nice sharp corners with the exception of the upper-right which you can see has a small stress bend caused by the shrink-wrap process. The wrap does have the proper air-holes.

All in all its a nice copy for most collections

I guess you could call "THE BEATLES STORY" one of the first "rockumentaries" ever released. Originally released in November, 1964, just in time for the holiday selling season. "THE BEATLES STORY" the 4th Beatles' Capitol release was right on the heels of; "Meet The Beatles", "The Beatles Second Album", "Something New", and "A Hard Days Night" from United Artists.

"THE BEATLES STORY", provides what every fan wanted, more information about the Beatles. This 2-record set takes a look at "The Beatles' lives in close-up, packed with details, anecdotes, and information fans never knew before (this is what the record says), & only excerpts of their music. However, "THE BEATLES STORY", provides "authentic" personal stories of all four guys, shows off the wonderful wit and humor of the Beatles themselves, best of the interviews with their fans, dazzling new photos, and the most comprehensive coverage yet on John, George, Paul and Ringo-from the beginning to their fabulous fame today!"

I've been a collector of Beatle items since 1969. In addition, I've spent most of my career (1971 to 2004) in the Record business in different executive positions. Payment is only accepted through PAYPAL. Payments need to be made within 72 hours after receipt of my invoice. If you need additional time to pay, please communicate this info to me immediately and include a suggestion of the solution you'd like. Please do not wait until the last day of the payment deadline to communicate. Example: if you need an additional 2 or 3-days, simply inform me of the problem & include your needs in your first communication after close of the auction and we can quickly work something out. All items are wrapped & securely packed. I use only NEW Corrugated packaging materials with a 200 Lb Burst Test requirement.

     -There is Nothing Worse Than Finally Receiving the Item You've Been Waiting for to Discover it Was Destroyed in Shipping Due to Use of Sub-Standard Materials or a Sloppy Job of Packaging. I have yet to have a claim for Damage from any Buyer.

1. $4.00 for Media Mail or $8.00 for Priority shipping & handling to the United States.

Priority Mail will arrives to you safe, secure, trackable, & insured within 2-3 days in the continental US. Media Mail which is also trackable & insured usually takes 4-7 days. 

2. International Shipping details & how customers are invoiced for International Shipment:

-$8.00 cost for Priority shipping & handling is for your item to quickly arrive at the eBay International Distribution Center. This assures your package will be received at the International Center with-in 2 days for a quick turn-around to your foreign destination. Normally, once items arrive at the center they are usually turned around and sent out to your destination within 24 -48 hours.

-$4.00 for Media Mail which is also trackable & insured will take 4-7 days to reach the Ebay International Shipping Center.

-The cost of foreign postage & the documentation fees will also be on your invoice. When you pay the total invoice amount, the International shipping & documentation fees detailed on your invoice are automatically sent to the eBay International Shipping Center. I receive no part of that cost.

3. I apologize for the significantly higher postage costs for International customers. The US post office recently implemented the highest International postage rate increase in history, roughly 40%.
