Greetings all you Lou Reed and Velvet Underground fanatics!  I have here a very RARE and POSSIBLE LOU REED Oddity!  I bought this from an eBay seller in 2003 because of the possible Lou Reed connection.  I have shown this to many friends who are Lou Reed fanatics over the years but I have never parted with it.  I have been offered as high as $200 and looking back, I probably should have jumped at it.  Anyway, I have decided to sell it at this time because I am trying to gather some bucks to help my son leave town and enter the truck driving field.  Ok, I am going to type the exact details that were entered on this original auction with a few words that do not apply, removed.  There is also a photo from the original auction with word for word, the details.  
PICKWICK SHOW & TELL RECORDS  1965 RED GRANGE FOOTBALL  LOU REED? GE made this toy record player "TV" slide projector for the kids. I've never seen the player but we have here one of the discs in it's original cover.  The film strip is also included.  The 7 inch record is unplayed but it is a tiny bit scuffed from moving around inside the oversized jacket.  A guy who worked at Pickwick in the 60's told us that fellow Pickwick employee Lou Reed provided background music for the narrations.  I honestly can't detect any trace of Cycle Annie type sounds herein, but what the heck.  At least his lordship was hovering somewhere in the Long Island plant at the time that this kiddie krap was being manufactured.
At the time I bought this, I emailed the seller when I was bidding on this because he showed a photo with the record pulled out?  He replied that he bought a crap-load of vinyl etc. from a closing record store and there were several odd items including 3 of this Show & Tell rarity. He kept one and sold two including this copy.  He said that he kept the open copy himself.  I looked very closely and there is a bit of tearing along the edges, but not big enough to remove the disc.  I also do not see any trace of tape to reseal it.  I never opened the disc because I felt more value in it's staying sealed.  Especially since he heard no noticeable sound of Lou, why play it?  I am going to share this in a few of the Lou Reed and Velvet Underground FB groups so all who wish will have a chance at this possible Lou Reed goodie.  Thanks for shopping my auctions and let's help get my son terrorizing the roads from the cabin of an 18-wheeler.   thanks
