THE SEARCH PARTY: Montgomery Chapel (Rapturedelic RR 6.8)

• Condition : Cover and vinyl are NM in shrinkwrap. Shrink is torn at top and there a few little spots where the white cover is yellowing a bit.
• Description : Scarce circa 1992 reissue of monster circa 1969 Xian psych private press rarity by a band led by a seminarian in California. Interestingly, this reissue was never shrinkwrapped at the time of manufacture so the shrink must have been applied by a distributor or retailer. Normally these were shipped with no wrap of any sort and the retailer would polybag them at point of sale. Also, this reissue is technically a private press itself; the person who made it gave it the label name "Rapturedelic" which caused some friction with another label with a similar name at the time, with the result that part of the word "Rapturedelic" was crossed out in black pen on most of the labels. This one evidently escaped to retail before any of that happened as the labels are unmarked and show the full name. I think this was a run of 300 copies although I do not see any numbering on the jacket, which is an old thick white style with the slicks pasted on. The music features a mix of male and female vocals and some rather astonishing screaming fuzz guitar. This has been booted a couple more times since this issue, I think the boots are just copies of this version as the original from 1969 is seldom offered for sale. Only spare I've ever had, this sold out fast when it was issued!

• GUARANTEE: Condition of this item is guraranteed to be as stated in the above description. Grading is strict and visual. All used LP's are cleaned on a Loricraft machine before grading. Sorry, I do not guarantee "musical content". If you are going to bid high on an unfamiliar album, consider first checking out the sounds online or via a reissue, etc in order to avoid potential disappointments. You cannot return a record simply because you don't like the music.
• Records are shipped in a cardboard record mailer with sufficient padding, and the disc is removed from the jacket to prevent seamsplits.

• Please do not ask me to email you with a list of every song on an LP. If you are looking for a specific song, inquire with the name of the song, I'll check ASAP to see if it's on the LP and reply promptly, but I don't have time to type out the names of every track, sorry to say. Also, sorry but requests from underbidders along the lines of "I didn't win, could you A) dub the record to CD for me B) ask the high bidder to dub the record to CD for me or C) give me the winner's email so I can ask" are ignored due to legal and privacy concerns.

With FCMI service, Registered Mail (includes tracking number and requires your signature upon delivery) is available for $10.80 extra per parcel; if you want Registered Mail added to your FCMI parcel, ask. The higher price option on your invoice (Priority Mail International) includes a tracking number and, to most countries, around $80 in insurance coverage, as part of the shipping cost. However, Registered Mail service is not available with Priority Mail International service.
