Item Description & Condition:

Second Layer was a post-punk musical act formed in 1979 by Adrian Borland (vocals, guitar) and Graham Bailey (keyboards, bass guitar, drum programming), both of The Sound. Their first release was the EP Flesh as Property in 1979 through Tortch Records. This was followed by another EP the following year, State of Emergency. The band's only studio album, World of Rubber, was recorded in France. It was released in 1981 through record label Cherry Red Records. Andy Kellman of AllMusic wrote that the band "retained some of [the] feel" of The Sound, "albeit in a slightly detached fashion that's to be expected when synths and drum machines replace more human elements".

Both sides of the record labels are in Near Mint condition, undamaged record labels with signs of just a couple of play’s to each label.

Both sides of the vinyl disc are in Near Mint condition, a beautiful disc with no scratches and just a couple of hairlines.

The Vinyl 45 EP comes in it’s original first issue Black & White Picture Sleeve and is in undamaged Excellent condition, no tears or seam splits, just light creases and light age toning.
