Description
Seeburg, the jukebox maker, produced a background music system called the Background Music System, using custom made 45 rpm records with both sides utilizing up to 4 songs. These records were used to play elevator music in the 60s and 70s and were issued and owned by Seeburg Music Library Inc, made by RCA. I guess an early "Musac" is a good way to describe it. These look like new and in the original box and sleeves (there are about 10 out of sleeve). there are about 25 in three boxes that are labled "ORANGE, BASIC D" "GREEN, BASIC D" and "BLUE, BASIC D", each record a different band, from the 30's - 50's. The basic blue has blue, yellow, and several different lables inside. They would be great for your collection!

SS Still Sealed - Rating 10
Never opened. Flawless, with no damage whatsoever.
M Mint - Rating 8-9
Has been opened, but is still flawless
with no damage whatsoever. There are no ticks or pops to be heard.
The cover still has its cellophane in place, possibly with a sticker on it.
VG+ Very Good Plus - Rating 5-7
Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but
will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only
"barely detectable" crackles or pops. A slight noise at the
beginning is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless.
Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
VG Very Good - Rating 4-6
Vinyl: May crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only
occasionally, never continuously, and not more loudly than the
music being listened to.
Cover: Normal used cover wear such as ring wear and split seams. If there is abnormal damage such as tears or markings, but the seller still feels that it qualifies as a "VG",
the damage must be described in comments attached to the item.
G+ Good Plus - Rating 3-5
Vinyl: May have continuous crackles, pops, etc... but not so loud as to make the music completely unlistenable or unenjoyable to the
casual listener.
Cover: More than normal wear and tear.
