Obscure, independent jazz-funk LP from the 1981. Seeds of Fulfillment were made up of AndrewVenson (bass), Roger Myers (drums), Lee Savory (keys) and Randy Mather (sax)who all went on to great things in the jazz world - recommended!

The self-titled session, which results in the group’s ONLY full-length recording, is a great mix of spacey Fender Rhodes grooves, funkypercussive rhythms, layered horns, cosmic atmospheric tones, and soulfulmelodies. Even though it was released in the early eighties, the album has an overall spiritual electric jazz sound, reminiscent of the types of releases Black Jazz were putting out during the seventies.  

Standout tracks include “The Provider,” “Namaste,”“Tight Squeeze,” and “Solemn Solitude.” Two of the group’s tracks (“TheProvider” & “Solemn Solitude”) are also featured on the first two volumes of the excellent Praise Poems compilation series.
