ARTIST: THE SENSATIONAL ALEX HARVEY BAND

TITLE: Framed

LABEL: VERTIGO 6360 081

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: UNITED KINGDOM

YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972

MATRIX CODE SIDE A: 6360 081 1 Y // ^ 420 1 1 2 (Stamped)

MATRIX CODE SIDE B: 6360 081 2 Y // ^ 420 1 1 2 (Stamped)

CONDITION: (vinyl/cover) VG+/VG+ ***GREAT COPY!*** (Please read detailed information below!)

The raunchy debut from Mr Harvey after he joined forces with the mighty TEAR GAS. In my book; without doubt the best album from this well renowned crew. And getting quite tough to track down an original swirl copy nowadays...

COVER; the unlaminated die-cut sleeve has some general wear at the corners and spine. There is a light ringwear and some creasing. But pretty decent for this cover – which is nearly impossible to score in untouched condition – and graded as VERY GOOD PLUS.

VINYL; the vinyl has a really nice sheen with just some very light hairlines visible under strong light from some angles, slightly more evident on side A. This vinyl gets a visual NEAR MINT-grading. There is some light crackle in the quiet parts and in between some of the tracks. A few occasional pops can be heard during playback. (You all know the deal with Vertigo-pressings...) It gets an aural VERY GOOD PLUS-grading.

LABELS; both labels are clean with some light spindlemarks. Nice.

EXTRA; the original Swirl-inner is included (has 4913 000 15801 804) It is slightly discolorated and some red leftovers from a sealing-sticker, which has caused a tear on one side (white on white).

I use GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS – MINT/NEAR MINT/VERY GOOD PLUS/VERY GOOD/GOOD/POOR. The grading MINT (M) is hardly ever used - and at that umcommon occasion - NOT used improperly. NEAR MINT (NM) means NEAR MINT both visually and audible! VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) is the same as EXCELLENT (EX) in other grading systems. My ambition is to provide an as accurate description as possible and I do not try hide any defects or other flaws on the record and cover. MY GRADING IS STRICT and winning bidder ALWAYS has full refund minus shipping costs! PLEASE E-MAIL IF ANY CONCERNS! THANK YOU AND HAPPY BIDDING!

GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS

MINT ---- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.

NEAR MINT ---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.

VERY GOOD PLUS ---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original lustre may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.

VERY GOOD ---- Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl lustre, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.

GOOD ---- Well played with little lustre and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.

POOR ---- Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Good" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws
