Description

Rare LP by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Pressed in Germany on Metronome 2001 Records (Catalog No. 200.173), this album is a re-release of an album Alex did in 1972 called "The Joker Is Wild". This LP caused some controversy at the time, because although the title stated it was the Sensational Alex Harvey Band, it wasn't - just Alex and some studio musicians. An unusual, yet essential release in Alex's catalog.
I've graded this very conservatively. The sleeve is in very nice shape, except for the German price sticker on the front, a "Made In Germany" sticker on the back, and some of the lamination on the cover starting to wear a bit at the edges. The LP itself is very nice, glossy, and plays well. It can be even better with a deep cleaning.
