SESAME STREET BOOK & RECORD [Original Cast] (VINYL LP, 1970) **SEALED**
It all started on November 10, 1969. Sesame Street is an American educational children's television series that combines live-action, sketch comedy, animation and puppetry. It is produced by Sesame Workshop (known as the Children's Television Workshop until June 2000) and was created by Joan Ganz Cooney and Lloyd Morrisett. It is known for its images communicated through the use of Jim Henson's Muppets, and includes short films, with humor and cultural references. It has aired on the United States national public television provider PBS since its debut (yes, its still on as of this posting!), with its first run moving to premium channel HBO on January 16, 2016, then its sister streaming service Max in 2020. 

This record came out in 1970 with audio-visual material designed to entertain children and help develop their skills and self-confidence. It remained on the Billboard Hot 100 for 54 weeks! Members of the original cast are here, a couple of whom have since passed on: Bob McGrath, Loretta Long, Jim Henson, Frank Oz and others.  This release includes a 24 page illustrated booklet plus a full color poster!
