One of the great Mozart records - which, like the Britten Deccas, demonstrate that it takes a musician of genius to play the music of a genius properly! One of two rare 1967 Bernstein recordings on Decca with the Vienna Philharmonic - long before their late love affair in the 80's & 90's! Also one of Bernstein few concerto appearances, along with the classic Gershwin and Shostakovitch records, which show what a curiously underrated and remarkable musician he was!
