Description

I have up for auction a Set of 4 records (Longer Playing 12" 78s) (no booklet/cover) with beautiful Blue Wax surface. It is a blue and gold Columbia label probably from the earlier 1930s. It is Set 107 (#68217-D through #68220-D) by Felix Weingartner Conducting The London Philharmonic Orchestra performing Beethoven: Symphony No.4, In B Flat"-Op.60. The records proceed from First Movement through Finale: Conclusion on the first 7 sides. The 8th side is also Beethoven: "Prometheus: Overture"-Op.43.  The records are in very good plus to excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still fairly shiny and clean.
