Description
I have up for auction a very impressive Set of 4 records (Longer Playing 12" 78s) on the blue and gold and gold Columbia "Magic Notes" label made in England. It is Liebeslieder Waltzer (Daumer-Brahms, Op.52) performed by Irmgard Seefried-Soprano, Elisabeth Hongen-Contralto, Hugo Meyer Welfing-Tenor, Hans Hotter-Baritone and Friedrich Wuhrer and Hermann Von Nordberg, Pianos. Records include:
1. #L.X. 1114, Side 1: The Quartet with Nos.1-2-3-4 and Side 2: The Quartet with Nos.5-6.
2. #L.X. 1115, Side 3: The Quartet with Nos.7-8 and Side 4: The Quartet with Nos.9-10.
3. #L.X. 1116, Side 5: The Quartet with Nos.11-12-13-14 and Side 6: The Quartet Nos.15-16.
4. #L.X. 1117, Side 7: The Quartet with No.s17-18 and Side 8: Pianoforte Duet-Wuhrer&Nordberg, Waltzes Nos.2-15-6 (Brahms, Op.39).
The records are in excellent to E+ condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still very shiny and clean!
