Description
Every once in awhile a record comes along on ebay that is so rare, you actually cannot believe it. And here is one. Recorded at the most famous punk rock show of all time, this record exists only in hushed, talked about tones because most people do not think it exists. Yes it does. A recording of the very last show ever by THE SEX PISTOLS, live at Winterland in San Francisco, California on january 14, 1978. It does not get any rarer than this. This is a live recording, and you can hear all the crowd noise and all the famous Johnny Rotten lines. This is THEE very last performance ever of the THE SEX PISTOLS with Sid Vicious. This record is a hand numbered (#217) (as seen in the 4th pic) of the first and only real edition of this record. Only 400 of these exist! THIS RECORD HAS ONLY BEEN PLAYED ONCE. IT comes packaged in a blank 12" record jacket and one instert as pictured. This is as rare as it gets. This is an incredible piece of punk rock history! People have looked all over for this. Unless you were at the show, (which you were not), you need this. This was bought in the early 1980's from the person who pressed it, and was played only once and then stored very carefully for obvious reasons. Only 400 of these were made because at the time, even John Lydon was interested in not letting these get out to people. I cannot stress how rare of an actual record this is. There are few moments in musical history as rare as this one. This has been treated like royalty over the years in its storage. Any true fan of THE SEX PISTOLS or punk rock in general would be a fool to pass this up. You will not see a copy of this for along time, if ever! A true historical document that embodies the raw, powerful fury and angst of the first true punk rock band, THE SEX PISTOLS. I think i have made it clear how important record is, so do not miss out! Serious bidders only, please. Vinyl, sleeve, and cover are in near mint condition. The bidding starts at 24.99, but you know it is worth alot more than that. Feel free to email me with any questions.
