    MEGA RARE ORIGINAL PROMO ONLY 35mm CINEMA TRANSPARENCY SLIDES
    Ultra rare promotional only UK 35mm Cinema Transparency Slides issued to promote "The Great Rock 'n' Roll
    Swindle" and the untouchable classic that is "The Filth And The Fury".
    Sent to UK Cinemas as a promotional tool for advance publicity purposes, - their intended use was to project the slides
    on-screen before the Coming Attractions Trailers, the all-important revenue raising Advertisements and the main feature
    film.
    This was a somewhat short lived fad when film distributors began to receive feedback from the vast majority of UK
    Cinemas that projecting the slides on-screen was a somewhat futile task. Yes, every Cinema did indeed have a 35mm
    film projector to show the latest blockbuster, but very few Cinemas actually possessed an actual 35mm slide projector,
    needed to show the slides on-screen.
    There were a select amount of films promoted (or not as the case may be) with 35mm slides, - including several James
    Bond titles that are now highly prized by collectors.
    All of the promotional only 35mm slides sent to UK Cinemas are incredibly rare as the vast majority of them were
    simply thrown in the bin by disgruntled projectionists.
    I never knew these Sex Pistols slides existed and the images contained on each are simply stunning. Just check out the
    animated images of Sid and the Pistols from the "Swindle" film on the top row, either side of the image of Sting in a car
    with Paul and Steve, this image is in itself mega, mega rare as it's actually banned from public exhibition! - Sting never
    gave his permission for the image to be used for promotional purposes - what a cock!
    The "Filth And The Fury" slides mainly concentrate on classic Pistols TV appearances, including "So It Goes" ('Get Off
    Your Arse!') and "Top Of The Pops", - without doubt the coolest TOTP performance by any band EVER! 
    The slides are mounted inside a STUNNING custom made electrical light-box. Once plugged into the mains supply the
    box is flooded with backlight, illuminating the slides and giving each of them perfect vibrancy and clarity. 
    The light-box is a stunning one-off custom masterpiece of design that perfectly displays a mind numbingly rare, mouth
