Shadows Of Knight--Gloria / Dark Side--Dunwich 116. Early white label promo for this legendary Chicago garage band. This particular single had quite a few label variations, as the group became more popular and more records were pressed to keep up with demand. The very limited first pressing had a gold label and did not include "Distributed By Atco" on the label. Copies of that version are quite scarce. I'm not sure a promo label was released for that first pressing. This is the promotional release for the second pressing (and possibly the first actual promo for these tracks) and was also issued in 1966 after copies of the first pressing quickly sold out. The corresponding stock label for this record also had a gold label. Vinyl and labels are like new store stock, a beautiful Mint -.
