Description

Perhaps the most famous "outsider rock" album of all time, Philosophy of The World was originally recorded in 1969 by three sisters from New Hampshire, Dot, Betty, and Helen Wiggin, at the insistence and direction of their father, Austin Wiggin. 
This is the rare, FIRST 1980 reissue of the LP, under Rounder Records' Red Rooster imprint (Rounder 3032/Red Rooster 103). 
From the Wikipedia entry: "Following a 1980 reissue on Rounder Records, it received enthusiastic reviews for its uniqueness in Rolling Stone and The Village Voice...The Shaggs became a subject of fascination in the 1990s, when interest grew in outsider music, and they are credited for influencing twee pop."
The LP has been carefully stored in a smoke-free home under good conditions and has been very rarely played.
Oh, and Kurt Cobain was a big fan (you could look it up).
