Description
A 33 1/3 RPM stereo vinyl LP, 'Riley, riley, Wood And Waggett' by Sheffield area (Eckington, Nth Derbyshire) band Shape Of the Rain
The album was released in 1971 on the Neon label (an RCA label for 'progressive' music).
This was the first (and only) studio album from Shape Of The Rain. Recorded at Rockfield Studios, Monmouth, Wales and released in June, 1971
All songs were written by the band, apart from 'Rockfield Roll' which is credited to the band and Eric Hine
Musicians:- Keith Riley, 6 & 12-string electric & acoustic guitars and vocals; Len Riley, bass and maracas on 'Patterns'; Brian Wood, 6 & 12-string electric & acoustic guitars, steel guitar, vocals and tambourine on 'Broken Man'; 'Tag' (Iain) Waggett, drums, maracas on 'Broken Man' and tambourine on 'Patterns':
Eric Hine plays electric piano on 'Dusty Road', 'Broken Man', 'Willowing Trees' and 'Rockfield Roll'.
Produced by Tony Hall and Eric Hine, sound by Kingsley Ward
The gatefold sleeve was designed, with art direction, by Olav Wyper with sepia tint photography by 'Keef'. There's a full track listing inside the gatefold together with musician and production credits etc.
Black, poly-lined inner sleeve with patent nos and 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN'' printed on one side.
'Botticelli Venus', full-colour Neon label on 'Side 1' . 'Side 2' has a black RCA - Neon label with the album title, band name and track listing for both sides

Condition
The vinyl looks VG+.
There are some faint scratches, with the odd faint pop on playback.
The sleeve is VG+, with very slight edge wear.
The inner sleeve is creased, and the poly-lining has become detached on one side.
