Background on this eBay item -

The grand daddy of all audiophile labels - SHEFFIELD LABS is a well known record label. Their music software  (CD and LP) competes with the likes of other grand audiophile labels like; MFSL, Reference Recordings, Wilson Audio, Opus 3, Mark Levinson, Proprius, Water Lily, etc..

Many of the company's issues are sonic spectaculars. Others are just excellent through and through (performance and sound).

If you haven't done so already, give a few of the Sheffield Lab titles a spin, you won't be sorry!

Up for sale is a very rare SHEFFIELD LABS 2-LP set (Long Out of Print, BRAND NEW, UNPLAYED and FACTORY SEALED LP) item -

CONDITION Details:

The GATEFOLD LP jacket is in Near Mint condition. The jacket is completely intact, with NO seam splits, and show virtually no shelf wear - perhaps a slight corner bend at most. The record is FACTORY SEALED.

The LP is in Near Mint condition! It is actually BRAND NEW, UNPLAYED and FACTORY SEALED.

A Short Note About LP GRADING -

• Mint = Only used for sealed items.
• Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
• Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
• Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
• Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.

Please understand that this is a very old record - as such, one cannot expect the record to sound like a brand new, audiophile pressing! Some noise is inevitable - for best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them.

The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
