Description

This is the

Direct Disc LP

titled

"The Sheffield Drum Record - For Audio Component Testing and Evaluation"

(Sheffield Lab 14) (1981) (U.S.)

---------------------------------------------------------

It features famous session drummers Jim Keltner and Ron Tutt (Elvis Presley's drummer) each doing improvisational drum solos.

This extremely dynamic recording is often used for audiophile demos.

**********************

The vinyl is in beautiful condition with no marks or scratches and there are no spindle marks on the labels. One label has a small "Last" sticker on it. The jacket is in excellent condition also with no splits, promo holes, cuts or bends. It comes with a Sheffield catalog, an insert that describes the recording process and Sheffield history and a bio on the two drummers. A very nice example.

It has been professionally cleaned on a VPI 27 Typhoon record cleaning machine and then again on a KL Audio Ultrasonic record cleaning machine.

The photos are of the actual item for sale.
