                       SHELAGH  McDONALD  " STAR  GAZER "  VERY RARE ALBUM

                                            Released in 1971 on  B&C  CAS 1043

                                                    Condition:  EXCELLENT ++

                I bought this Album in the year it was released by a record mail order
                company.  It was played on a high quality turntable (Thorens 125 turn    
                table, SME arm with Shure V15 cartridge.)  It was always cleaned with
                a high quality record cleaner.  It has always been stored in a plastic outer
                sleeve for protection.

                                                       THE  COVER

               The COVER is in an EXCELLENT condition.  It is in a SEMI MATT finish.
               Both FRONT and BACK are VERY CLEAN, there are no scuff marks. 
               However there are three creases, one in the top left hand corner and one
               in each of the bottom right and left hand corners.  The creases were caused
               when the Album was posted to me from a mail order record company.  The
               SPINE is LOVELY and STRAIGHT and CLEAR.  All the CORNERS are FIRM
               and TRUE with only one light scuff mark in the bottom right hand corner.
               The SLEEVE OPENING is VERY STRAIGHT with no sign of any wear.  Other-
               wise this 38 year old Album cover is in a SUPERB condition. 

                                                   RECORD  INNER  SLEEVE

                The Album comes complete with the ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE in MINT
                condition, as seen in the photograph.

                                                           THE  VINYL

                The VINYL is in an EXCELLENT ++ condition.  The Album is in a HIGH
                GLOSS finish, which is VERY CLEAN.  The LABELS are also VERY CLEAN
                with no SPINDLE marks, except one extremely light spindle mark on side 2.
                which is almost invisible.  The SOUND QUALITY was AMAZING during the
                test play on my REGA PLANAR 3 record deck.  This was the first time this
                Album has been played in 36 years, in total it has not been played more than
                three or four times.  Over all the SOUND was CRISP with GREAT audio, so
                DETAILED.  Side 1. was free from any defects, side 2. track 1.  has a few
                light clicks, and track 2. had one click.  There are a few extremely light  pops
                and crackles on side 2.  However for a Album of this age it is SUPERB. As we
                all know this has become a real collectors Album.
