Description

For sale is Shiloh, the debut (and only) album from the popular Texas based band lead by Don Henly (later of the Eagles).  Released in 1970 (AAS7015) on Amos Records, the band also consisted of Michael Bowden (bass), Jim Norman (keyboard), Al Perkins (dobro/steel guitar), and Richard Bowden (lead guitar).  Other talent on this recording are Jerry Surratt (keyboards), and the Linden Philharmonic Orchestra (strings) with the album being produced by Kenny Rogers, who encouraged the band to move to Los Angeles for a recording deal.  I know this record is a collectible item, but there is a flaw, so please read the description below.

TRACKS

Simple Little Down Home Rock & Roll Love Song For Rosie

I'm Gone

Left My Gal In The Mountains

It's About Time

Swamp River Country

Railroad Song (Traditional)

Same Old Story

Du Raison

Down On The Farm

God Is Where You Find Him

The cover is near mint to mint with a teeny, tiny amount of wear bottom right (see photo) and is still protected by the original shrink wrap.  Sticker on the back is on the wrap.  Side one is mint and was probably played once.  Unfortunately, side two (probably played once as the owners only played LPs to record them to their tape system) has a couple of streaks (rubs, or faint scratches) from some kind of freak accident and I have no idea if this interferes with playing as I no longer have a player.  Nice label on the vinyl and the record is in it’s original inner sleeve.

Securely wrapped and sent by media mail.  If you have any questions, please ask.  Thank you.
