SHINING - 8 ½: Feberdrommar I Vaket Tillstand LP (Vinyl), Limited500 Copies) NEW

Black Metal Release Date: 23 September 2013
Limited Edition: 500 Copies
Special: 21,99 EUR inkl. MwSt. Artikelbeschreibung Weitere Hinweise

Niklas Kvarforth and his band SHINING have never done things it as expected in the usual way. Of course also not with their 8th studio album. Anyone for whom the Swedish suicide black metal pioneers SHINING has become too mainstream and untrue on their latest albums can either take a deep breath or bang their hands over the head. Deep Breathe because SHINING returns to its roots with its output ''8 ½: Feberdrommar I Vaket Tillstand'', to the days of ''II: Livets Wechhållplats '' from 2001 and ''III: Angst Självdestruktivitetens Emissarie'' from 2002. Bang the hands over your head, because they don't let the old songs be the old songs, but present the whole thing in revised versions. ''8 ½: Feberdrommar I Vaket Tillstand '' contains 6 pieces from the pre-production phases of the two albums mentioned and the subsequent split with DOLORIAN, in which the guitar and bass tracks are completely re-recorded and keyboards by Lars Fredrik Frøislie from ANGST SKVADRON and BEASTCRAFT have been added. With the exception of ''Through Corridors Of Oppression'', on which Niklas Kvarforth himself was on the mic, the tracks were sung by various guest singers such as Attila Csihar, Manaic, Gaahl, Pehr Larsson or Famine. The question still remains whether you really need that when you have the originals in the shelf. It depends on whether you are keen to hear the old songs in the new SHINING guise, but basically each of the tracks definitely has an alternative version that works as such. Here the 180g vinyl edition, limited 500 copies in gatefold cover.
