Description
Artist: The SHIRELLES
Title: “The Shirelles Sing to Trumpets and Strings”
Label: SCEPTER. Monaural first pressing on medium weight vinyl. Label is red with black text, with deep groove. Catalog number is SLP 502.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found and very likely unplayed. Labels are clean and pristine, with no spindle trail marks. Fidelity is superb. You will not find a nicer example anywhere on the planet.
JACKET: Jacket is EXCELLENT with nice bright artwork. Seams, spine, and surfaces are excellent. Front panel has a few very light surface scuffs, and reverse has some small spots in the lower right corner. Nice seams, spine and corner tips. No writing, stickers, or cutout indications. Overall a very fine jacket.
NOTE: This came from a family member of a long-time local record distributor who selected records for his personal enjoyment back in the early 60s and never got around to playing most of them. A stunning item.
