SHIRLEY AND LEE Aladdin Rec' Orig' White Label Pressing LP -EXTREMELY RARE !
SHIRLEY AND LEE--LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL--ALADDIN RECORDS--LP 807--ORIGINAL MAROON LABEL PRESSING--INCREDIBLY RARE RECORD
in 1956 and recorded "Let The Good Times Roll" which became their biggest hit single which reaching #1 on the US R&B charts and #20 on the Billboard hot 100 chart. It sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold status.
LP: WHITE LABEL PROMO. Aladdin LP 807. Labels clean (white label with text, no label logo). The Cover is VG++, has a small 1 inch seam split in the middle bottom of the sleeve, slight ring wear on the front cover (please look at photo), crease on sleeve top left hand corner (please look at photo). There's some straining on the back right hand corner of the cover which looks to be a print stain from the original printing of the sleeve. The Vinyl is VG++, Under Bright Light it has just a few light surface scuffs...nothing even close to deep or feelable...The disc is Still Loaded with Shine and Gloss. Plays Clean and Loud. Overall this is in Amazing Condition for this Rare LP which in its day fetched way over $1000.....this is a white label as well so I'm expecting the bidding will reflect that.
