A supreme example of this rare LP. In Holland this was issued on the Pink Elephant label and in England on the very collectable Penny Farthing label.  This auction is for a fantastic condition first press with a magnificent undamaged sleeve.

This was the third album by the psych freak beat phenomenon from The Hague. It had some fantastic killer tracks like Daemon Lover and was overall a psych/ prog exploration with very interesting ideas although it did not produce a big hitting super track like "Venus". This album has aged particularly well and is now probably regarded the best album the legendary Robby van Leeuwen put together.

Pink Elephant was a Dutch record label of record company Dureco (Dutch Record Company), and was active between 1968 till end of the 70s. The most important band on the label were Shocking Blue. 

 This album is extremely rare and it's been quite a few years since I last saw a copy at all.  This is a very desirable item which hardly ever comes up for auction. The Penny farthing label was a small subsidiary label pressed at the Philips plant like also Vertigo and this is evidenced by the stampers and matrices which typeface are the same as Philips, Fontana and Vertigo issues.

Gatefold Sleeve: EX.  A beautiful gatefold sleeve, rarely seen in such glorious condition. The colours are rich and the edges are pristine. A very well preserved example which has been archived for the past 49 years and must be one of the very best in existence. this is the ultimate upgrade. No crease, no damage, no writing etc.  Tiny thumb creasing on the opening. The spine  and edges are 100% and this album has been looked after from day 1. Impossible to find like this these days.

Vinyl: EX to EX+.  A superb vinyl which sounds fantastic on the audio test. Played this on a Project turntable with Ortofon cartridge through B&W speakers .... super clarity and nothing untoward.  Under a strong light there are a few very faint retraction type traces, these are invisible in normal light. There is barely any detectable background noise. The stereo separation is so much better than later reissues or cd. This will be an upgrade for most experienced collectors.  Needles to say NO marks, NO hairlines etc. Of course, NO skips, NO jumps, NO ticks. If you are after this splendid album, this is the ultimate copy to go for. It will be very difficult to ever find this again in this condition.
