THE MUSIC on this LP was recorded at a series of sessions of original music as stated above. They are original1st Issue Recordings and 1st pressing. The sessions were directed by Leonard Feather. This is Volume 1 of 2.

There are TWO song titles each side (musicians listed below), PLUS A BLINDFOLD TEST , per LEONARD FEATHER "to add a little touch of mystery to the sessions we have concealed the identity of the solos to be heard respectively on the three numbers entitled THE BLINDFOLD TEST (actually three different themes all based on the traditional 12 bar blues format). You will not have difficulty figuring it out."
