Sibelius: Symphony No.5 in E flat major, op.82 + No.7 in C major, op.105
rare UK first press PROMOTIONAL vinyl LP released 1966 on black/silver wideband DECCA stereo label with catalognumber SXL-6236. There is a white/red stamp on the label stating "MUSTERPLATTE - UNVERKAUFLICH" which translates into "SAMPLE RECORD - NOT FOR SALE"... i.e. the rare UK export promo LP given away to German radio station DJs at the time.... Matrixnumbers are ZAL-7229-1G and ZAL-7230-1G. Laminated cover with original innersleeve "Made in England", and vinyl all AS NEW in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition with clean labels and no spindlemarks - appears unplayed!! Highly acclaimed performances by Maazel conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra recorded with true audiophile soundquality. See photo...
