PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
INSANELY RARE original Terre Haute PROMOTIONAL first pressing from 1981 on Jet with glossy black & white printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics and promotional text in the top right hand corner on the rear cover in customary gold embossed lettering!!! What makes this particular copy a million times more rare is the fact that it has been SIGNED on the front cover by Ozzy himself in beautifully legible bold black marker!!! Cover is a very nice VG+ with a hint of ring. This LP was included in a jaw-dropping collection I purchased from a man whose brother had passed away in the early 1980s. His brother worked at a record distribution warehouse on the north side here in Chicago and had an enormous collection, most of which were promotional copies and imports. According to the gentleman who sold me the collection, a lot of signed promotional copies came through the door, including this one, which his brother quickly confiscated and filed away in his personal collection. Now it can be yours. I've owned this LP since the early 2000s and it is undoubtedly the crown jewel in my Sabbath collection, which is considerable as you can see by my auctions. This is a 100% guaranteed authentic signature. Now that Ozzy has performed his last live show, this LP takes on a much more historic significance so if you miss it, YOU'LL BE SORRY.
