Dark and sultry, yet ethereal and raw, is Saint Avangeline's hit single, 'Lilith.' Experiencing a sexual assault in her late teens, the gloomy lyricism colored by melodic vocals paint a world underwater—gasping for air as she's forced to come to terms with trauma at the hands of her lover.
What started off as a therapeutic poem written in a journal and then reworked into her first song, 'Lilith' has become a reclamation of power for her; a song widely beloved and a source of comfort for many who listen.
