Description
This is an auction for a copy of my ma's 1968 LP "Prophets, Seers & Sages - The Angels Of The Ages" by seminal British glam rockers T-REX.
This is the original British release on Fly Records - Cat No: TOOFA 3/4, and is presented in a full colour gatefold sleeve. The format is DOUBLE VINYL.
The inner of the gatefold sleeve has been signed by Marc Bolan in black pen (Biro by the looks of things), it was signed back in the early 70's for my mother, but she's on one of her "cash in the attic" trips at the minute so wants to sell it under the premise that it may be worth something.
The sleeve is in fantastic condition for its age, no tears/spilts, just the usual ring wear and corner scuffs. The vinyl is in practically MINT condition, and has no nicks or scratches whatsoever.
The signature has faded a little over time but as the scan shows, it's still vivid and clear. I can send scans of the autograph if required, the close up file was too large for ebay to handle.
Please only bid if you want this record, as it's a pretty reluctant if not warranted sale on behalf of my family.
My start price is reflective of independent valuations from the internet, it's not just me being greedy : )
