Description
This is the first pressing of Sigur Ros's Agaetis Byrjun double lp. Record and sleeve are in fantastic condition. This thing came in 2000 and caused a pretty decent amount of people to bug out. They kind of were the next big thing at the time with their etheral My Bloody Valentine-esque massive guitar swells and Icelandic made up language called Hopelandic. The record pretty much lives up to the hype and is all around pretty epic. Definitely their most critically lauded and in my opinion their best work to date. On fat-cat records and from what I can remember the first recognized release by this label that went on to put out other uber indie heavy hitter type stuff like animal collective and no age. A great record. Best of luck.
