It's now been two years since Rolando Simmons started his Summer Diary series. This second part finds the Swedish artist once again serve up some playful electro excursions fulled with frosty textures and squelchy bass. "Squenz 16 42 53" is the bristling opener that darts about with real fluidity, while "Laniakea Supercouture" is much more sparse and atmospheric. After a deeper and more languid vibe on "Yes Its That Pluzz", the flipside completes the trip with a bit of nostalgic yearning and subtle melodies to keep the mind occupied as you race through space.
