Simon Brouillard was the front man and lead singer of Quebec's legendary 60's teen garage-punk band formed in Saint Hyacinthe (considered the "Liverpool" of Quebec).....definitely one of the best French Canadian garage bands to come out of Quebec in the 60's. Simon and the band (with bassist Alain Blanchard, drummer Normand Brouillard, lead guitarist Serge Lambert and rhythm guitarist Yvan Saint-Onge) recorded 9 singles and just 2 long plays when lead vocalist Simon split for a brief solo career (the rest of the band hung on to record a couple of garage singles as Les Luths, before finally calling it quits).
A few months after the release of Les Lutins' final LP (the now highly coveeted "Les Lutins En Orbite" released in 1968), Simon Brouillard recorded 9 new tracks and included the exact original Lutins' recording of their "Monsieur Le Robot" on this, his debut solo album (recorded in 1969, released early 1970).
The musicians' credits are nowhere to be found, but the back-up band is almost certainly some (if not all) of his Les Lutins/Luths bandmates
