In 1966, Rusticana wasted little time compiling the earlier singles ('A' and 'B' sides) along with a handful of newly recorded studio numbers. Released as 1966's Siinerisme, the results made for a first rate collection of tough Stones-styled R&B rockers. Propelled by a raspy smarling voice in French, the original material is thoroughly engaging. Dark, greasy and slightly dis-nerving (just like the album cover), this is near perfect mid-1960s garage rock. In contrast to most Quebec-based bands the album is also notable for the fact it includes a couple of English lyric performances including the freakout 'Candid Colour Count Down' (complete with reference to Mohammed Ali) and 'Sour As a Sidewalk'. Personal favorites included the should've been a pop-ht 'Je Suis Las', the pounding rock ' and 'Nice Try' and the goofy 'Cleopatra'. All told a real find that should get wider exposure among collectors.

Sleeve : Original paste board clover with lightly textured front cover. Clean, no writing, no seam splits. Minor edge wear (EX-)
Label : Clean with faint trace of spindle marks
Record : clean, small scuffs where the record has been taken in and out of the sleeve, plays beautifully with just a hint of little pops audible between three songs. Graded visually and aurally (EX-)

- EX: Excellent. The record has no major marks or audible faults. It has been played, but well taken care of.
- EX-: Excellent minus. The record shows some sign of having been played, but has very little lessening in sound quality. On an LP perhaps one or two tracks will have faint crackles or pops.
- VG+: Very good plus.The record has been played regularly. There may be visual marks on the disc that are beginning to sound e.g. crackles on several tracks.
- VG: Very good. The record has been played regularly and is showing signs of wear . There will be visual marks, and surface scratches, thus there will be audible pops and crackles. Or the pressing run may be poor, causing constant hiss.
SLEEVE GRADING:
- New: New.
- Mint: As new condition. In perfect condition. The sleeve should appear to never had a record in it.
- EX: Practically as new, Clean. No writing, no ringwear, no splits, it has been used, but handled carefully. It may have minor blemishes and wear.
- EX-: As above, BUT possible minor creasing and/or slight edge scuff, very slight ringwear, small writing on back cover i.e. a name in pencil.
- VG+: Can include minor bending, visible ring wear, minor splits, small writing on sleeve. Normal wear and tear, but no damage to the visual beauty of the sleeve.
- VG: Sleeve wear is beginning to detract from cover art. Can include major creasing and/or splits (but not sleeve separation), major staining and ringwear.
