("Sounds called Coxsone is the first...Sounds that control the universe and quench your musical thirsts..."...as I Roy said on his killer tune "The Coxsone Affair"...here comes...giga-rare...UK soundman Lloyd "Sir" Coxsone ina deep dubby mood...this is his rarely seen "Presenting"-plate which came out as a Pre-Release in very limited quantities only...definitely one of the rarest dub-albums...has 10 untitled tracks from various roots rockers-sources...all from around 1979 as I&I'd say...very very clean copy...comes as original press on the UK's Tribes Man-label...vintage dub-sounds...calling all dub-heads...this is an emergency...don't miss out!!!)
ORIGINAL PRESS (NOT A RE-PRESS!)
FEATURE: CREATION VIBES
WAX 'N' SOUND: ex- / ex-, both sides show very light surface marks, plays pop-a-top w/ big big punch and full, clear sound, NO hiss, lightest occasional crackle. Presenting...a rare dub-affair!
LABEL: both sides show lightest general wear only, NO writings/markings, NO damages, just perfectly perfect - please note: The small bright red strip on the right comes from the scanning-process!
SLEEVE: comes in white/plain 12"-sleeve as originally issued - there NEVER was a proper sleeve for this album, this was issued as PRE-RELEASE only!!! Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone (as pretty looks isn’t all as they say) - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being). THIS IS MY VINYL GRADING SCALE: EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...) VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...) G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...) P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...)
