Description
This is a genuine music industry award issued by Atlantic Records in 1985 for the single “Frankie”. It was given to Roy Dougan, a long-time sales manager at WEA for his contribution in helping the record get to #1 on the UK chart.
This framed & glazed award is in a gold aluminium frame measuring 26x36cms. Overall the award is in very good condition - just a few very minor marks/blemishes - it looks great when it’s on display.
This award was produced by Framous, who have been making awards for the British music industry since the early 1980s. This is an original record company award and should not be confused with any kind of replica or ‘limited edition’ that is sold direct to the public.
A really nice and rare piece of Sister Sledge memorabilia.
