Skin Alley
'Skin Tight'
Transatlantic, UK, 1973
TRA 273
FOURTH AND final album from this obscure British progressive rock band featuring ex Atomic Rooster bassist and vocalist Nick Graham. Music is quintessential rural rock - a mixture of hard rock and progressive with all the right moves including, at times, brass and orchestration. At times they sound like a gritty sort of Jody Grind/Marsupilami prog unit then drift into a sort of CSNY vibe before climbing back on board the rock machine with a jaunty amalgam of Hookfoot, Bronco, Capability Brown and Gypsy.
Pressing: Transatlantic, UK, 1973
Vinyl: Nice clean condition. No spindle marks and barely any signs of use. Grades as MINT-!
Cover: Displays some signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated gcover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, faint ring wear, no split seams and one almost invisible crease. Residue of strip of protective sellotape applied along top edge. Spine is straight and uncrushed. Grades as Vg+
Inserts: None
