This is an ORIGINAL 1959 CALICO RECORDS U.S. FIRST PRESS self-titled LP from popular Pittsburgh PA doo-woppers The Skyliners. It is Calico Records U.S. catalog number CLP 3000, thick rigid vinyl deep groove pressing.

Visual condition of record is a low VG+ with a moderate amount of surface marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play. Deep groove press record plays nicely with a little very light hissing surface noise throughout which I believe is inherent in the pressing. Record also has an extremely slight and barely existent slow warp which only becomes apparent when the record is placed on a turntable and which also has absolutely no effect on play. Condition of cover is VG with a number of flaws, none of which are really major or distracting - Including a 4" split in the right side of the top edge and a 1-1/2" split in the right side of the bottom edge (I have carefully and neatly repaired these splits by taping from the inside), some wrinkles, a little age discoloration, a little writing on the back cover, some ring and contact wear, and a fair amount of wear along the edges and on the corners including a couple of small spots where the top layer of paper is worn away. This LP is a good player and would be a nice addition to any doo-wop or 1950s rock-n-roll record collection! Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.
