THE VINYL   EX+ STRONG  PLAYS SUPERB

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized EARLIEST MATRIX 1st UK pressing on the POLYDOR RED LABEL.

This first pressing is a super condition vinyl which has survived being trashed by Glam rock teenage girls throughout the 70s on poor quality record 'dansette' machines!!  There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age.  We see many copies of this LP, but rarely do we see a copy IN SUCH GREAT SHAPE as this.

There are a few tiny light whisp lines and a couple of feint hairlines, nothing of which spoils the play. There are no scratches or damage to report (we would not list it in which case!)

There is a the odd lead in crackle as you may expect but overall this LP was a real joy to hear and has no jumps or skips to spoil the listening pleasure.

The centre hole shows barely a hint of any wear and there are only a few tiny light 'skate lines', again confirming this LP has seen only a handful of careful plays.

OVERALL WE FEEL  IT IS IN EVERY WAY, A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION.

THE SLEEVE     MINT- STRONG 

Correct outer only LAMINATED Gatefold first issued earliest sleeve by 'Howards' -Later sleeves were flat matt finish.

 This sleeve is in incredible condition. We see many copies of this LP on our travels but to find one as good as this is so rare.

The laminate gleams like glass as if printed yesterday.

No wear to the edges, no laminate creases of any note, and no feathering to report

No ringwear or even ring press of any note. There are a couple of little spider lines over the edges and one tiny corner dink on the bottom of the spine & an even smaller one on the open edge

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with no hint of handling

The open out of the gatefold is simply perfect, a light crack as we opened it proving this has been handled barely at all-It really is as perfect as you could hope to see.

The spine edge is totally unmarked and all legends are perfectly readable, with no bubbling or wear at all
