'Old New Borrowed And Blue'
Polydor, UK, 1974
2383 261
THEY REALLY hit their stride with this one. Killer stomping rock all the way with Noddy blowing blood vessels in his face at an alarming rate. He's gruff, he's loud, he's bad and he's dead keen to let us know all about it. The songs are glorious three minute hard rock anthems including 'My Friend Stan', 'Do We Still Do It', 'Good Time Gals', 'We're Gonna Raise The Roof' and the brilliant hit single 'When The Lights Go Out' amongst many others.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
Pressing: Polydor, UK, 1974
Vinyl: Top clean and shiny condition. No spindle marks on the labels and no signs of any other use. I would say unplayed. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
Cover: Again, no signs of any use. Issued in a beautifully designed gate fold cover manufactured by MacNeil Press Ltd. Sharp corners, no dings, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff and square. Looks like it walked out of the factory yesterday. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
