SLEATER-KINNEY ~ THE WOODS Sub Pop DOUBLE LP COLOR. 

The Woods double vinyl set -- 

Rare and out of print. This is an un-played copy. I have open it only to make sure that it's color and to take a photo. It's in as near mint as you can get.  

Only a handful of these were pressed by SUB POP and unlike other Sleater-Kinney records a second pressing was never made.  This deluxe original features beautiful fold-out cover, photo insert with lyrics on the reverse and two records pressed to colored marble vinyl.   Now considered the most rare of all Sleater-Kinney records. 

The first record is a marbled light green color, and the second is a reddish brown with side D printed to look like a horizontal cross section of a wood / timber. Insert has mild corner crease from being put inside the LP. Normal 

slight signs of wear on the usual edges and corners. 

Otherwise wonderful condition. 


Sleater-Kinney is a three-piece rock and roll combo from the wilds of Portland, Oregon, made up of the dual and dueling guitars and voices of Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein, and the insistent and inventive drumming of Janet Weiss. The Woods (as in deepest, darkest; operating in dim corners of the heart and mind, both a physical reality and an emotional place) is the title of the new Sleater-Kinney album.
