SLEEPSTONES I Put a Spell On You RARE 1967 Swedish PSYCH/JAZZ 45.Hörselmat HEAR

$

100

I've been collecting records for the past 11 years. Everything from super scarce items to standard releases. Most of them are today rare and very collectible. In my posession, these records have been handled with extreme care; all records have been removed from the original inner sleeve and been put in an extra plastic/paper sleeve to avoid seam splits on inner/outer sleeve.
I mostly grade my records visually if nothing else says in the auction: MINT NM EX VG G with + and/or -
For some reason some people leaves me low stars in the feedback on s/h which is nothing but unfair!
I don´t set the prices, i only charge you what the Swedish postal service charge me, buyer only pays actual shipping cost! Thank you for understanding!

Up for auction:

Sleepstones - As The Night Come To See / I Put a Spell On You

Released in Sweden 1967. (Columbia DS 2353)

Info:

VERY RARE 5th and final 45 with the Swedish group Sleepstones.
This 45 is by far their hardest to find, and includes a fantastic freak-out version of Jay Hawkins I Put A Spell On You ! Best version ever recorded if you ask me !
It really shows the band at their BEST and what potential these guys had, with the psych-drenched organ playing, the amazing screaming vocals by Ted Åström,
the locked-in Jazz influenced bass/drums, and off course the rhythmic guitar playing by the legendary Janne Schaffer, who during 1971 was the guitarist on the mythical and probably most sought after -
Swedish Jazz/Funk/Prog LPs ever to be recorded in Sweden, Hörselmat by Svenska Löd AB !
Anyways, Sleepstones is in my opinion up there with the greatest Swedish bands of the 60´s , to bad this 45 was their last...even so it is their BEST!
