Just a quick word about how I grade the records
I realise the importance of accurate grading therefore I always play check the vinyl before I list it so I can give an accurate grading. However, this is a very time consuming process so I can only list 5, maybe 10 records at a time. If I have described an item as Mint- it means it is as good as new...the vinyl will be glossy and will play without clicks, pops or jumps. I don't really like to grade a record as Mint unless it is sealed or if I know for sure that it has never been played. So Mint- is as good as new.....Near Mint will usually mean a record is in exceptionally good condition with maybe just a few light isolated ticks now and then but nothing to spoil the listeners enjoyment of the LP. Anything below Near Mint will be described in more detail....I will always state if there are any ticks which last for more than 5 rotations. Such records will usually receive an Excellent or maybe Very Good grading. The same rules apply to the sleeve.
