Rudolf Kempe and The Dresden State Orchestra.1973 UK pressed EMI HMV stereo four LP box set with booklet insert, SLS 861.
Earliest black and white Nipper postage stamp label with white perimeter band.
Vinyl in mostly near mint condition. Glossy unmarked surfaces and barely any spider trail marks around the spindle areas. There is just one small and non-feelable scuff mark to "Macbeth". This runs just deep enough to produce two or three non-consecutive very soft ticks. In all instances these are extremely quiet and of no real distraction.
Labels are clean and unmarked.
Original inner sleeves EX.
Booklet insert close to EX with just a little very minor handling creasing.
Outer box also close to EX. Structurally in good order and not knocked about. Has the typical matt textured surfaces common to this series and this combined with the black surfaces lends very easily to rubbing and wear. In this instance the exterior has survived very well considering with just the lightest of whitening rubbing patches to extremities, perhaps most noticeably so at bottom left corner. Else the main panels and spine are in very good order with just a few dots of whitening rubbing to front panel.
