Description

  • Sly & The Family Stone released their "Greatest Hits" compilation album in November 1970 on Epic Records. It includes all the singles from their first three albums plus three new tracks "Hot Fun In The Summertime," "Everybody Is A Star," and "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)" that were previously only released as singles. The record was hugely successful and reached No. 2 on the U.S. album charts.

  • This copy of (KE 30325) is from the First Pressing more than 50-years-ago and is in very good condition. The gatefold cover has some edge and ring wear but the seams are solid and I rate it VG+. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is also VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered at Customatrix and was pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Santa Maria, Calif. The Side One dead wax is etched P AL 30325-3B M2 B 5 S1.

  • In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

  • Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.

  • This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 51 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
